An unmanned self-service system for a Shanghai golf studio: VIP mode by day (coach bookings, hardware idle), auto-switching to unmanned mode at night (scan-to-enter, auto timing) — two modes, one system.
The studio coaches students by day and needs an exclusive VIP mode; at night it wants unmanned self-service. No off-the-shelf solution covered both.
Built mode switching: VIP mode during business hours (backend bookings, no public slots, hardware idle); auto-switch to unmanned mode after hours (online booking, scan-to-enter, auto timing and billing).
The owner coaches by day while the system earns at night. His feedback: “The 3am phone calls finally stopped — I sleep at home while the money comes in.”
